The Battle of Luzon in the Philippines was a long hard fought battle. Pvt Elbert Marsden was one of three Hood County men killed in that battle . We don’t have a lot of information on him other than he attended Hill City and Tolar schools. He enlisted around September 1944 and was killed 9 months later.
