Next Steps
Construction is beginning on the memorial! Make sure to follow us on Facebook & Instagram for updates and new information. We look forward to having a great celebration as we reveal the completed memorial. Once we have an estimated completion date, we will let you all know.
Our Mission
To erect a monument on the historic court house lawn.To honor and remember the sacrifices made by Hood County residents, who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom we know and enjoy today. So that all who live in, Hood County, or visit Granbury, may see the memorial of these brave heroes. And, that the families of these fallen, will know that their loved ones who never made it home, are not forgotten. And future generations will know that there is a great cost, that has been paid, to earn us our liberties.
(Approved Nov. 23rd 2021 by Commissioners Court.)
